Hi,long time no see.. This month (July 2010) I'm trying to do an independent research on what people think about Jogja. I sent the first drafts to friends who seemed interested in the idea in the first place, and I'm also consulting it with a lecturer and urban researcher of UGM.I'm hoping to get some feedbacks soon so I can spread these questioneres. I'm planning to get at least 500 people to participate, and then make a diagram of the result and analize it as a basic step to move forward in what I am doing in the context of learning about urban planning and design and contributing to the society.
Questions from the firt draft are
1. distance from home to workplace/school
2. area/district of residence and workplace/school ( to map out movement)
3. do you like the area you live in? why
4. Where do you like to spend your free time?
5. Whats a great hangout place for you? can use examples from other places
6. what destination would you recomend a family or friend who just came to Jogja
7. what vehicle do you like to take when going around Jogja
8. Which is the nicest street you like to go through?
9. Have you taken public transportation in Jogja?what do you think?
10. If there was a nice and cheap public transportation, would you rather take that or still private vehicle?
11. What do you like the most bout Jogja?
12. What dont you like about Jogja?
13. Do you like the progress and development of Jogja recently? why?
14. If you can change something about Jogja, what would it be?
15. If you can conserve something about Jogja, what would it be?
Those were the questions. by looking at the respond, I will hope to have a good firm step on where to begin the REAL ACTION.buahaha!
